I would like to officially welcome everyone to the MOST BORING DAY in sports. The only thing going on today is the 2009 ESPY Awards which we can't even watch until Sunday. Is there some law that states all award shows have to air on Sunday nights?

It makes perfect sense to host the ESPY Awards on the one day of the calendar year when there are no major sporting events, so doesn't it make sense for the fans to watch the ESPY Awards on the one day when there are no major sporting events?

Oh well. At least there are college football links to fall back on:
