We are 45 minutes away from kickoff and Bret Bielema and Kirk Ferentz are talking at mid-field while their players go through warm-ups.
It doesn't look like weather will be a factor today. It's a little cold, but there is little wind and plenty of sunshine.
Today the Badgers and Hawkeyes will play for the Heartland Trophy, but the more storied trophy in this rivalry is the Rusty Tool Box, which the Badgers claimed back last night when the UW managers routed the Iowa managers 37-6 in a flag football game they play every year. Maybe a sign of things to come today?
Analyzing this match-up, I think the game will be won or lost between UW's offensive line and Iowa's defensive line. Ohio State managed to get six sacks last week on an O-line that had only given up two all year. The UW line has to be better today against a D-line that is arguably better than OSU's.
As always, feel free to leave your predictions and comments right here in the game thread. I will be here all day with updates here and on Twitter.
All-American candidate O'Brien Schofield just had the honor of firing up his teammates in the North endzone. I hope it worked because I'm definitely fired up and ready to go.
