We have an update on the Brock Boeser recruiting situation. As you already know, Boeser decided to re-open his recruitment after being previously committed to Wisconsin.
Boeser, who is currently at the World Junior A Challenge with Team USA, joined The Pipeline Show for a segment on Saturday to talk about his status. Boeser tells Guy Flaming that he's considering Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Dakota.
He doesn't talk about it in the interview, but Boeser visited North Dakota a few weeks ago and Wisconsin last weekend during the Penn State series. He has yet to visit Minnesota, and they are the odds on favorite at this point to land his services.
The whole interview is worth a listen, but if you want to hear Boeser talk about his NCAA options, skip to the 8:30 portion of the embedded audio:
On if he's still committed to Wisconsin:
"I decommitted 3-4 weeks ago. I wanted to step back and take and open up my options and make the right decision for me."
On what will be the deciding factor on his college decision:
"The best campus, because I'm a school guy, and also the best development for me that's going to get me to the next level and be successful."
