Here's Austin Kafentzis on his official visit to Madison on Saturday. The Sandy (Jordan), Utah, quarterback commit is in town with a slew of other recruits, and now Badgers fans can get a glimpse of the one that could very well become UW's quarterback of the future. Also, you gotta admit it's kinda funny they gave him Joel Stave's No. 2 to try on. (h/t @kylekafentzis)

Osa Masina cancels visit to Wisconsin

10

Wisconsin continues to fall out of the picture for four-star Salt Lake City (Brighton) linebacker Osa Masina. According to 247Sports, Masina has cancelled his official visit to Wisconsin originally scheduled for this weekend. UW quarterback commit and fellow Utah native Austin Kafentzis will also be in town, but per 247's Barton Simmons, Masina didn't want to travel after recently visiting UCLA and Arizona State. Still, Simmons says Masina doesn't plan to reschedule his Wisconsin visit.

The Badgers thus far have four linebacker commits for 2015: two on the outside in Dominic Sheppard and Mohamed Barry, plus Nick Thomas and Chris Orr on the inside. UW is also believed to have some interest in Christian Folau, another four-star Utah linebacker.

Wisconsin 2016 RB target Antonio Williams says he could make an early commitment

7

New London, N.C. (North Stanly) junior running back Antonio Williams says he may commit early. Williams is a four-star recruit in 247Sports' composite rankings, considered the No. 9 running back in the class of 2016. Late last month, he named UW his leader among a top six that also included Duke, Georgia, Auburn, Tennessee and North Carolina. Per 247, Williams is expected to make an unofficial visit to Madison for the Oct. 25 game vs. Maryland.

4-star 2016 RB Antonio Williams names Wisconsin his leader

11

Four-star 2016 North Carolina (New Stanly) running back Antonio Williams has named Wisconsin his favorite. As you can see above, the Badgers currently lead Duke, Georgia, Auburn, Tennessee and North Carolina for the 5'10, 210-pound tailback. 247sports' composite rankings consider Williams the No. 9 running back for 2016 and the No. 119 player overall. As Scout.com's Brice Marich relays, Williams has rushed for 1,450 yards and 16 touchdowns through his first five games this season.

One final sign of Wisconsin's good fortune here: Williams' Twitter header image is a side-by-side of himself, Melvin Gordon and Montee ball.

RB target Jordan Scarlett won't discuss official visits

12

St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) running back Jordan Scarlett was one of a few big visitors to Madison this weekend, though as Scout.com reports, he won't be talking about his trip -- or any others. The reason? Since he's already a Miami commit, he's doing it out of respect to head coach Al Golden and the Hurricanes' staff. Perhaps that's a strong sign of his intentions to remain committed to Miami, but either way, that's a pretty impressive sign of respect from a high school recruit.

Also of note to Wisconsin fans: Scarlett says Scarlett's teammate, cornerback Rashard Causey, says Scarlett "had more fun than I did" on his UW visit this weekend. Causey is a soft Florida Atlantic recruit, and many consider him Wisconsin's top remaining cornerback target. For what it's worth, 247sports' Crystal Ball predictions lean 40 percent Miami and 40 percent Wisconsin for him.
