The Badgers will have a minimum of 25 games on national TV this season.
The Big Ten announced on Wednesday the TV designations for the 2012-13 Wisconsin men's basketball schedule. After a Nov. 7 exhibition game against UW-Oshkosh, the regular season begins on Nov. 11 against Southeastern Lousiana.
As for Big Ten play, Wisconsin opens and closes it against Penn State, beginning on Jan. 3, in Madison. The Badgers will also have home-and-home series with seven of the 11 other Big Ten teams, facing Michigan and Purdue only at the Kohl Center and Indiana and Northwestern on the road.
The Big Ten Tournament will be played at the United Center in Chicago this season, March 14-17.
The highlights of Wisconsin's TV schedule as announced on Wednesday include:
- Wisconsin will have a minimum of 25 nationally-televised games
- UW will host Ohio State on CBS at Noon on Feb. 17
- The Badgers will have at least 11 games on the ESPN family of networks
- UW will have a minimum of 13 games on the Big Ten Network
