Undecided on College Choice
Farmer was receiving recruiting interest from most of the Big Ten and many schools out of the Big East, including Ohio State and Pittsburgh. He claimed offers from Cincinnati, Dayton, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, and Xavier. According to Farmer's HS coach Sonny Johnson, however, he did not yet have an official offer from Wisconsin at the time. Farmer's terrible decisions involving an ex-girlfriend effectively ended his recruitment as he was sentenced to prison at the end of the summer prior to his senior year.
