Commitment Status Undecided on College Choice

The Ellenson name is a big one in state basketball circles. Henry's older brother Wally was recruited a bit by the Badgers and signed with Minnesota, before switching sports to track and field full-time, then ultimately transferring to get another shot at basketball. Another older brother, Ellwood, committed to play for NCAA Division II Bemidji State.

As for the youngest son of former Badger John Ellenson, Henry holds current offers from Baylor, Boston College, Creighton, Iowa State, Georgetown, Marquette, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, Purdue and Wisconsin. Interest from the superpowers is also underway, as Ellenson's latest scholarship offer from Duke may have vaulted the Blue Devils into the lead for his services.

In March, Ellenson was one of 23 players named to Team USA's 2013-14 Developmental National Team. He survived cuts down to 16, but did not make the final 12-man roster.
