Verbal commitment Verbally committed to Illinois

Jordan's star started to rise with his first high-major offer coming from Wisconsin. Bo Ryan extended the offer to Jordan after he attended UW's advanced camp in early June. The young guard had picked up seven other offers prior to that, plus Creighton, and has visited Illinois State several times. Furthermore, on the first day calls were allowed to 2015 recruits, Jordan heard form Kansas, Marquette, Iowa, Northwestern, West Virginia, VCU, Purdue, Georgetown, and more.

Jordan impressed scouts by playing well through injury during the first July '13 evaluation period, which netted him the coveted in-state offer from Illinois. Though the Illinois Stars have played a bit off the beaten path so UW hasn't followed him much, he continued to play well and projects to be the kind of scoring guard the Badgers have lacked for awhile. Jordan took an unofficial visit to Champaign in May and another to Butler in early June before Brad Stevens departed. He made second unofficial to Butler on August 1 and walked away with an offer, which he said "was pretty exciting because I could see myself there." Now into his junior season, Jordan attended Wisconsin's victory over Marquette and came away impressed with Sam Dekker, the slightly faster Badger tempo, and of course, the Kohl Center atmosphere.
