LSU denies deal to play Wisconsin has been finalized

Pump the brakes, at least for a little while, y'all. LSU officials are denying an agreement to play Wisconsin in Houston at the 2014 Texas Kickoff Classic has been reached, saying it's continuing to talk to other schools. Fox 26 Sports Wisconsin initially reported the deal was done, citing anonymous sources. Jeff Potrykus of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel also reported no deal has been reached, nor is one close.

My first reaction to this was, "Good for O'Brien." He's been making the best of what has to be a ridiculously tough situation -- he had to follow Russell Wilson as an ACC transfer, played poorly, then didn't play at all and doesn't look likely to play a lot this year. But what's the next chapter in this "story," so to speak?

The top is pretty standard championship ring fare, with the team logo surrounded by that regular but still awesome championship font. The left side features the always brilliant Rose Bowl logo, and the right has each player or coach's name with the number of Big Ten Championship trophies he's won.
