Hey everyone. We're stuck in the doldrums of college sports, unfortunately. No football or basketball to keep us entertained. The volleyball team's magical run to the finals is long past, and even the college World Series is over (assuming you cared in the first place). It's a real bummer.
So, in the spirit of continuing what I started several months ago and making this more of a community of friends than a hodgepodge of user names, as well as biding our time until football kicks into gear, it's ice breaker question time. This particular topic hits close to home, as I'm traveling presently, so here goes:
What is your dream destination for vacation and/or your favorite place you've visited?
Presently I'm in Heidelberg, Germany after visiting Brussels and Bruges in Belgium. I've got Munich, Prague, Hamburg, and Copenhagen to look forward to before making the long flight home, too. So far, Heidelberg has taken the cake this trip, but my all time favorite destination is probably Barcelona, which I've visited twice. What a city! If you ever get the chance to visit, do it! And come to me for tips, cuz I have plenty.
As far as a dream trip goes, I've got to list the fjords of Norway up there pretty high, though there's a whole lot of east Asia that I'd really like to get to as well. In an alternate universe where I'm an expert climber, standing on top of the world at Mount Everest seems pretty spectacular as well.
How about you guys?
Oh, and since it's an open forum feel free to discuss anything else, obviously. World Cup? Recruiting? You favorite dessert? It all flies here.
And as the lead image from my current journey implies: Cheers!
