Podcast: Jared Abbrederis talks training for the NFL, Combine experience

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

What was the oddest question former Badgers receiver Jared Abbrederis had to answer during the NFL Scouting Combine? He gave us the answer, and plenty more.

Another great show in the books! Jared Abbrederis talked with us about his preparation for the NFL, and CheeseheadTV's Brian Carriveau broke down the winners and losers from the 2014 NFL Scouting Combine:

At the top of the show, we talked Wisconsin basketball and the Badgers' big comeback victory against Indiana. Can UW run the table the rest of the season, and where will it play in the tournament?

At the 10-minute mark, Abbrederis joined us for a great chat breaking down his long weekend in Indianapolis. He discussed the following:

  • His daily routine during the four-day extravaganza
  • Whether the mental or physical drills were more difficult
  • What was the oddest question he had to answer?
  • Where did he train after the Capital One Bowl?
  • The prospects of him being drafted and playing in the NFL
  • Who he thinks can contribute to the 2014 Badgers
At the 30-minute mark, Carriveau popped on to talk about his experience being at the Combine from a reporter's point of view. He told us who stood out in both a positive and negative light (the latter may surprise you), which players he had a chance to watch and his thoughts on former Badgers working to get on the field on Sundays in the fall.

Plus, we give our Dupa of the Week, and more!
