Chris Borland leads 49ers in tackles again, saves game with fumble recovery

16

He did it again, folks. Chris Borland led the San Francisco 49ers in tackles and tackles for loss on Sunday, 17 and two, respectively. The biggest number, though, was one: that's the number of game-saving Chris Borland Hustle Plays the former Wisconsin linebacker made. He recovered a Drew Breese fumble off a strip by Ahmad Brooks in overtime, setting the stage for Phil Dawson's game-winning field goal. You can see the play here; Borland was literally on the ground when Breese fumbled. He quickly got to his feet, sought out the loose ball and torpedoed toward it. Man, it's so awesome seeing Borland thrive like this two weeks in a row.
