We've generally been mocking these watch lists the last few weeks, largely because of their absurd breadth. But if there's one to watch for Badgers fans, it's the Doak Walker. One Montee Ball won the award in 2012, becoming the second Badger to do so (Ron Dayne was first in 1999, his Heisman season). White was a surefire addition to this year's list, though Gordon might be considered somewhat of a size considering his exclusion on most other skill player lists. I might venture that we could see Gordon get fewer carries (probably a safe bet) but nevertheless become the home-run hitter, a la White's emergence in 2010. Considering Ball won last year and Wisconsin running backs are generally favorable candidates, could White realistically win this year? Could Gordon, if he truly explodes and leads the team in rushing?
