Wisconsin Announces Spring Football Practice Schedule

The closer we get to March and all that Madness, the closer we get to football season.

On Tuesday, Wisconsin announced the schedule for the first spring football of new head coach Gary Andersen's tenure. The highlights:

  • Next Monday, March 4, Andersen will hold his first press conference of the spring football season. Among the questions expected to be asked: have we added any more quarterbacks, or are we set with six?
  • The first spring practice is Saturday, March 9, at 3:30 p.m. CT. That one is open to the media.
  • Two scrimmages are planned: the first on Wednesday, March 20, and the second on Friday, April 12. These will also be open to the media. It'll be interesting to see if any in-practice Twittering is allowed. My guess? Still no.
  • Wisconsin's spring game will still be held on April 20, though it has been moved back two hours to 4 p.m. CT to allow for live coverage by BTN.

What are you most eager to see this spring?
