Ryan Evans Slams Door Shut on Ohio State

Wisconsin senior forward Ryan Evans puts back a Sam Dekker miss with authority late in Saturday's game to punctuate a big Badger win.

It's almost as if Ryan Evans took out his frustration from the entire season in one fell swoop. An impressive play from a player who was feeling ill coming into the game.

Evans' dunk came out of nowhere with Wisconsin already leading by 24 points, 65-41, with three minutes left to play. Just a few minutes after Traevon Jackson found a cutting Sam Dekker for a power jam of his own, Evans streaked down the right side of the lane to corral the missed 3-pointer from Dekker in midair and tomahawk it home in one smooth motion.

The entire Kohl Center went berserk as a result, but also again during subsequent replays of the dunk. Think the energy of Jared Berggren's drive and slam against Penn State, but with bigger reverberations. The kind of play that honestly hasn't been seen in Madison since perhaps the Michael Finley days.
