The Big Ten won Day Two of the 15th annual Big Ten/ACC Challenge, but could only salvage a 6-6 tie overall for the second year in a row. Early wins by Ohio State and Wisconsin set the table Wednesday, as the Badgers won a slugfest, 48-38, over the Cavaliers behind Frank Kaminsky and Josh Gasser. Badgers deny Cavaliers, 48-38, for Bo Ryan's 300th

The defense by both teams was the star of the show, but the savvy 1-2 punch of Frank Kaminsky and Josh Gasser made enough plays in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge to avenge Wisconsin's loss last season.

Final: Wisconsin 48, Virginia 38

Bo Ryan logged his 300th win as Wisconsin's coach as the Badgers moved to 9-0 -- the team's best start since 1993-94 -- with a 10-point win over Virginia in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. It was only the second road win in Challenge history for UW.

Josh Gasser led all scorers with 11 points to bring the game home, after the Badgers surged to a second half lead. Frank Kaminsky had a game-high 12 rebounds, to help Wisconsin outlast the Cavaliers in this low-scoring, defensive-oriented affair.
