Woah. How's this for late-night news? There aren't many details so far, but the Wisconsin State Journal has confirmed a report from BadgerBlitz.com that the first-year offensive line coach is out after just two games with the Badgers. Sure, the offensive line was miserable in Saturday's upset loss to Oregon State. But this soon? We'll post more details once they're known. Update: the State Journal has published Tom Mulhern's story on Markuson's firing. Citing an anonymous source, Mulhern reports "a difficult transition" was the reason for Marksuon's departure. Bart Miller, a quality control coach on offense who also works with the offensive line, is expected to assume Markuson's position. Head coach Bret Bielema's weekly press conference comes later today at 12:30 p.m. CT, so we should know more then.
