We knew it would happen. The three big upsets for USC, Michigan State and Virginia Tech have tossed the middle of SB Nation's BlogPoll into total upheaval, sending Stanford up 14 spots, the Trojans down 13 and the Spartans tumbling 14. In between it all, Notre Dame rises seven spots to No. 7 and Mississippi State makes its first appearance with a six-spot jump to No. 24.
Our Badgers, as you'd probably expect, are out. In fact you have to look down into the middle of the "Others Receiving Votes" jumble to find them. Oy. I indeed left them off my ballot, though apparently it wasn't enough to keep B5Q from earning yet another spot in the mothership's Straight Bangin' Award for "suffer[ing] from an abusive relationship with your football team."
So what say you? Any thoughts on how the B5Q ballot matches up to the mothership's? Any issues? As always, sound off below.
