The No. 4 Badgers (AP No. 14), winners of three straight, and No. 5 Hoosiers (AP No. 15), winners of five straight, enter the second round as two of the hottest teams in the conference.
The Hoosiers are coming off a convincing 75-58 win over No. 12 seed Penn State. However, they'll be without senior guard Verdell Jones III. The teams only other meeting of the season came back in January, when he Badgers held Big Ten's highest-scoring offense to 50 points in a win at the Kohl Center. The winner of Thursday's game will face the winner of the currently-in-progress Iowa-Michigan State game at 12:40 CT tomorrow afternoon.
I'll be posting updates here and on Twitter @SamZastrow.
