Last Meeting: Teams have never met
Wisconsin: Bo Ryan, 12th season
271-102 at UW (654-205 in 29 seasons overall)
Arkansas: Mike Anderson, 2nd season
21-15 at UA (221-113 in 11 seasons overall)
Wisconsin is not exactly where it wanted to be at the conclusion of the Las Vegas Invitational, but it gets another nice test nonetheless in the Arkansas tonight. The Razorbacks play at one of the fastest paces in the country and score over 85 points-per-game.
Arkansas is led by one of my own personal preseason All-American picks in B.J. Young. Young got loose for 29 points last night against Arizona State, and leads the team in scoring at 21.3 points-per-game. The sophomore guard has, however, struggled shooting from long distance. Junior forward Marshawn Powell contributes 13 points and six rebounds as well.
Ken Pomeroy likes UW to win, 75-62 in 66 possessions, with 88% confidence.
