National Signing Day 2012: Dearring, Hill, Koenig, Brown And Hayes Are Officially Badgers

The early signing period began Wednesday, Nov. 14, and concludes Nov. 21. Wisconsin needed just two days to official complete its 2013 recruiting class, consisting of five players from four different states. The university has released an official statement with Bo Ryan's first comments on the players.

Hayes Signs, Completes Class

Nigel Hayes, along with three other students, signed his National Letter of Intent this morning at Whitmer High. Thus completes an athletic and versatile 2013 class for the Badgers. I present this picture sans additional puns.

Hayes Signing Scheduled For Thursday Morning

Per a Jim Polzin report on Twitter, Nigel Hayes will make his commitment official at a signing ceremony tomorrow morning at Whitmer High School. Hayes, a 6'7" forward out of Toledo, brought Wisconsin's recruiting class to a dramatic close just this past Sunday.

Koenig Signs The Dotted Line

It's been a long wait for La Crosse Aquinas point guard Bronson Koenig, the jewel of UW's next recruiting class, but he locked in for the Badgers around 2:30 this afternoon. Koenig verballed to Bo Ryan back on Sep. 24, 2011.
