Results for Week 6
SB Nation BlogPoll College Football Rankings 2011
We had many new entrants to our own ballot this week, but the mothership took it to a whole new level. Nos. 17-25 are all occupied by new teams this week, including four schools that are new all together. Those lucky programs include Louisiana Tech, Texas A&M, Iowa St., and Cincinnati.
B5Q's ballot had all of those but Iowa St. in this week, though I wouldn't argue their inclusion this week. In fact, there's a lot I wouldn't argue with in the last few BlogPolls, meaning my apparent wussiness has struck again. This week's SBNation.com writeup has B5Q once again won the Swing title for this week. According to Andy Hutchins...
That's three straight wins for Bucky's 5th Quarter, which now seems likely to win the season title for least Swing, a title about as irrelevant as the Big Ten division title Wisconsin's going to win.
Zing! Hey Andy -- we'll take it.
B5Q also finished second in this week's running for "The Chip Kelly Award for Boldness," the award for the voter with the ballot most divergent from the poll at large." Interestingly enough -- and I'm not sure what this says about our voting -- B5Q has flip-flopped in the running for TCKAB and it's polar opposite, "Jim Tressel's Numb Existence."
