It looks like Wisconsin running back Montee Ball is getting close to announcing his intentions for the 2012 season. This page will be updated as news breaks about the Badgers' star running back, and whether he will forgo his senior season and declare for the 2012 NFL Draft.
There's also been a lot of news today regarding the assistant coaches as two more appear to be leaving. You can follow that news here.

selfishly I hope he stays, but no one can be mad at him if he goes pro, obviously
he deserves all the success in the world.
I am too drunk to taste this chicken.

Tough to say
I’ve seen him all over the place, honestly. The fact that he’s considering staying suggests he got about a 3rd round grade, but who knows. Losing the Rose Bowl and the Heisman might have sparked a competitive flame in him.
Bucky's 5th Quarter The best site for Badger news on the web!
If it made sense, it wouldn't be the BCS.

Honestly I'd be happy either way if he stays or goes.
Happy for him if he gets drafted and is successful in the League, and happy for us if he decides to come back. On another note, you have a fantastic SB Nation name Dr. Funke.
Can't believe he's considering coming back.
I’ll love it — he might be the Badgers best all-around back ever — but can’t believe it.

I hope he stays for y'all...
he was a pleasure to watch and listening to and reading about both Ball and Wilson leading up to the Rose Bowl left me very much impressed. Both are credits to your school and held themselves with honor and panache.
Funny thing...
Our LaMichael James (despite news articles and talking heads swearing he’s turning pro any minute now… and prognosticating that idea for the last 6 weeks on a daily basis) is seriously questioning whether he wants to go to the NFL. Of course it’s in his best interest professionally, but James said after last season that he’ll be a success whether or not he ever plays in the NFL so it isn’t about the allmighty dollar for him. He just knows that once he leaves the team he truly loves he’ll never get it back and from then on he’s just a working man subject to all the BS that goes along with being an employee. My guess is Montee Ball also loves the hell out of playing for Wisconsin and loves and appreciates his teammates, coaches and the fans and the idea of playing college football.
