Ligament damage ends Koenig's season

Point guard Bronson Koenig, the prized jewel of Wisconsin's 2013 recruiting class, will not play the remainder of this season for La Crosse Aquinas due to two torn ligaments in his right thumb. Koenig has been sitting out since injuring the hand in late December. He initially tweeted the news himself. Koenig hopes to play AAU ball this summer with the Wisconsin Swing, but did not want to risk further damage.
