ESPN 'College GameDay' headed back to Madison

Stay connected for news and updates

MADISON, Wis. -- Break out the markers and poster board, Badger fans. ESPN's 'College GameDay' is headed back to Madison for the second consecutive year, according to a tweet from the program's official account.

The news is not unexpected: The Badgers will host Nebraska for their first-ever Big Ten conference game, and both teams figure to be ranked in the Top 10 in both the AP and Coaches' polls, which will be released later today. The game was already set to air in primetime on ABC, so the match up seemed like a natural choice for ESPN's flagship college program after both teams ended the non-conference slate undefeated.

In 2010, GameDay was in town to witness the Badgers knock off then-No. 1 Ohio State. The stage was set up inside Camp Randall Stadium that time, but Bascom Hill is rumored to be a potential location for this year's program.

Are you planning on attending Gameday? Have any good ideas for a sign? Let us know in the comments! This is just the start to what will surely be an exciting week.
