Hey everybody, just a quick reminder before we dive into the links: Wisconsin football student tickets go on sale in about a half hour, so if you can be sure to sang them before the sell out! Andy Baggot of Madison.com has an interesting article about the chances of baseball making a comeback at Wisconsin. The Badgers have been the only Big Ten school without a baseball team since 1991, when the program was eliminated to fix the athletic department's budget woes. Since then, current Wisconsin athletic director Barry Alvarez has remained adamant that baseball is not going to return to campus any time soon. Baggot says a new program would face several obstacles, not the least of which is Title IX.
What do you think? Will baseball make a glorious return to Wisconsin? What needs to happen before baseball can return?
