Steal This Thread: Big Ten Tournament Edition
Looks like epic craziness has already taken place in conference tournaments. Indiana State advanced to the NCAA Tournament. Butler took the Horizon League on UW-Milwaukee's home court. St. Peter's defeated Iona to win the MAAC.
And in the Big Twelve: Oklahoma State fell just short of a gigantic upset of KU. Nebraska and Baylor are likely out of the NCAA Tournament. Colorado is 3-0 against K-State and may well have punched their ticket to the NCAAs.
In the Pac 10: Oregon beat Arizona State for the first time since 2008, then thrashed UCLA to advance to the semifinals against Washington. Top-seed Arizona will play USC, which defeated Cal to advance.
There's a lot going on, in other words. Use this as an open thread of sorts (not for the Wisconsin-Penn State game tonight, though).
Have fun.
Wisconsin almost certainly needs a good game from standout guard Jordan Taylor if they're to advance to the next round of the Big Ten Tournament.

That was an EPIC FAIL.
This team better get its damn act together. Fucking inexcusable to play THAT BADLY on offense. Just inexcusable.

and flushed out Michigan State.

Do you think they are in?
The NCAA tournament? It’s tough to say. I think if Penn State stays in the game vs Ohio State they would have proven enough in the Big Ten tourney to be in the NCAAs. But its gotta be tough to put one in and not the other, seeing that they will have identical records (overall and Big Ten) if Penn St loses to the Buckeyes. Plus Michigan State has one of the highest Strength of Schedule rankings in the nation.

Penn State has a ridiculously high strength of schedule.
It’s higher than Michigan State’s, I believe. There’s no way that they are NOT in after what they’ve done.

Didnt know that.
On SportsCenter they show the “tournament resume” stuff and at one point Mich St had the no 2 SOS. Maybe Penn St was no 1!

That was wrong.
MSU has the 13th rated SOS, Penn State the 6th.

Leave it to him to make that pick...
I picked Oakland over Texas, but not Morehead State over Louisville OR whoever beat Vanderbilt…

No dice
Badgers Football: Big Ten Champs
Packers Football: SUPERBOWL CHAMPS!
What's next?
Badgers Basketball: National Champs?
Milwaukee Brewers: World Series Champs?
God, I love sports in the state of Wisconsin right now.
Gotta hand it to those officials
they do a great job of making Duke’s work so much easier.
No, I really am sick of them. Duke and UNC get the benefit of this crap all the time. And Michigan should have gone for the win instead of OT…

I don't dislike Duke as much as most people
but it’s probably because I personally know two people who have played basketball for them in the last 7 years. I’d rather they didn’t keep winning I guess, but if it came down to them or one of the other usual suspects being champs, I’d rather it be them.
