Introducing Badger Kickoff 2010!

It's time to end the suspense. I am happy to announce that the "surprise" I have been alluding to over the last three months is a 128-page preview magazine devoted solely to the Wisconsin Badgers that will soon be coming to a newsstand near you.

Badger Kickoff 2010 is an incredibly in-depth publication from Maple Street Press full of scouting reports, stats, analysis, and feature stories about the 2010 Wisconsin Badgers that you can't find anywhere else. Throughout the offseason I have been editing and writing the magazine and could not be happier with what was produced in what will surely become an annual publication.

If you are sick of all the national preview magazines that only devote one or two pages to the Badgers then you have to pick up a copy of Badger Kickoff 2010 when it hits newsstands throughout Wisconsin in early July. Joining me in writing the publication is a group of very talented writers and broadcasters that cover the Badgers on a daily basis throughout the season, including the Voice of the Badgers, Matt Lepay.

Here's a sampling of what you will find in Badger Kickoff 2010:

  • Pages and pages of scouting reports and stats on every position on the team, including the coaching staff.
  • Bret Bielema opens up about the rough 2008 campaign and explains why the 2010 season will be different despite similar expectations.
  • Matt Lepay takes you inside the broadcast booth, writing his own story about the greatest job in sports.

Star-divide

  • An in-depth look at each and every opponent on the 2010 schedule, including, yes, even Austin Peay.
  • One last look at the surprising success Wisconsin had in 2009.
  • 10 keys to the 2010 season. What Wisconsin needs to do to win the Big Ten. Some of these will surely surprise you.
  • We have our own Preseason All-Big Ten Team, the Top 10 Big Ten games you can't miss this season and we take a look at the Top 25 recruits in Bielema's tenure at Wisconsin.
  • Speaking of recruiting, find out who Wisconsin is targeting for 2011 class.
  • Also find out why John Clay finally believes in himself, how Scott Tolzien went from unknown to one of the best quarterbacks in the Big Ten and why Nick Toon calls himself D.J. iToon.
  • There's a lot more in this jam-packed magazine that every Badger fan must read before the season starts. Hell, there's even a Las Vegas travel guide for those who are planning to attend the season opener at UNLV.
  • For fans in the state of Wisconsin, you will be able to buy Badger Kickoff 2010 at newsstands everywhere, including grocery stores, drug stores and any other place magazines are sold. For those outside of Wisconsin you can order the magazine here. It costs $12.99, which is a bargain for 128 ad-free pages printed in full color. The photos are unreal and you can't get this much information about the 2010 Badgers anywhere else.

I hope you are as excited to read Badger Kickoff 2010 as I was to edit the publication.

    Same here.

Doubt I can find it in stores here in Pennsylvania, so I’m glad to hear it can be purchased online.
