Congratulations to former Badger hockey player Adam Burish who is just three wins away from his first Stanley Cup!

The Blackhawks beat Philadelphia 6-5 Saturday to go up 1-0 in the series. By playing in Game 1, Burish is now eligible to have his name engraved on the Stanley Cup if the Hawks take the series. Because of an ACL injury he suffered in September, Burish did not qualify for the 41-game minimum it takes to have your name placed on the cup. However, any player who plays in the Stanley Cup Finals is also eligible.

The Blackhawks are now 12-1 in the playoffs when Burish plays and 1-3 when he doesn't.
