Welcome into our live game thread for Wisconsin's opening round NCAA Tournament game against Wofford. We hope you will follow along with us all day, whether you are at work or managed to get the day off.
The game starts at approximately 1:50 CT, depending on how long the Temple-Cornell game goes. And speaking of that game, I will be right here watching it and commenting a little bit on the two teams Wisconsin could play Sunday.
Feel free to leave your comments and predictions below!

I wasn't buying into the hype of Cornell, but I wasn't denying it either.
I try not to make stong comments on teams I haven’t seen before. But now I have seen Cornell play for 9 minutes and this is a good basketball team. Foote is a very impressive big man.

Cornell's cutting and passing is ridiculously good
This is beautiful basketball to watch.

Man, Cornell has the Minnesota connection too
Ryan Wittman, the Big Red’s leading scorer, is from Eden Prairie, Minn.

Records in Wisconsin's favor:
Bo Ryan is 7-1 in opening round games with the only loss coming against No. 8 Arizona in 2006.
Ryan is also 10-2 against lower seeded opponents in the tournament with the two losses coming against No. 7 UNLV in 2007 and No. 10 Davidson in 2008.

Officials today are Anthony Greene, Jeffrey Clark and Lamont Simpson

What conference do they normally ref?

Simpson does Horizon and MAC
He’s the only one to ref a Wisconsin game this year. Guess which one…

Minnesota/Temple
I kind of expected both of them to keep their games close, if not win

Yeah I picked both to win.
I’ve gotten a lot of 1st round games wrong, but only have 2 Sweet 16 teams out.

Hockey
Don’t forget the UW men’s hockey team plays St. Cloud St in the WCHA semis at 2 p.m. on FSN. Try to get 2 TVs going if you can.

I got it on here too. I'll be updating hockey as the events unfold.

Against Cornell
Bo Ryan might have to pull a Steimsma vs. UNC and play Berggren against Foote.

Who knows if Wofford will hold their own today
But at the very least, I think their logo is pretty awesome.
That's all I've got for you today, unless you're interested in some Chris Capuano/Tom Haudricourt Fan Fiction.
Nankivil's foul looked pretty urgly.
Glad to see him up and moving about.

Nankivil leaves with a left knee injury.

18 seconds in

Where has that been all season?

Henry isn't even looking at Nankivil. He appears to be fine.

Scouting reports seem to be accurate
Wofford looks very similar to Wisconsin in style, but the Badgers are bigger and better.

Bohannon just passed up a wide open three.
Not a good sign.

Wow, Wofford can't buy a bucket.
And yet Wisconsin is only up 5.

If you can't make free throws then you shouldn't be in the game.

Great substitution there.
Nankivil gets two straight steals.

It's usually a good sign when the other team is scoring less than a point a minute.
Good ball pressure to force the carry.

Not a lot that Wofford could do about it.
Execute like that, and this should be easy.

They're layups. It shouldn't be a matter of falling.

It’s either a lack of focus, or trying too hard. I’m thinking the latter is more likely.

This Dahlman kid is very unimpressive.

There's realy no excuse for Wofford not doubling Leuer everytime he touches the ball in the post.

Yeah cause that Cornell team will hit every open look they get.
Bucky's 5th Quarter. SB Nation's Wisconsin Badgers community.
yeah- our offense seems stagnet at times late in the 2nd half. Are playing tight D on J-bo? Only had two shots and no 3pt attempts.
That's what I saw
Whenever J-Bo got the ball, he had a guy all over him.
Challenging him to beat them on the drive – good defensive strategy.

Especially because Wofford doesn't shoot threes
Bucky's 5th Quarter. SB Nation's Wisconsin Badgers community.
Announcers
are almost begging them to shoot a jumpshot, must not be there game though, they seem to like to get it into the basket.
Hughes and Leuer score 22 of the 27...
OMG the announcers just said this as my slow, stupid fingers type it out…

Reality
If the Badgers can keep pace for a little while, it’s probably safe to assume Wofford won’t shoot 100% the whole second half.
