Well, we're at 1-1 in conference play. .500. Split. So far, so good. The Badger offense had an amazing day, racking up 30 first downs, and both leading Badger backs eclipsed 100 yards today, Clay with 3 TD runs to complement his efforts.
Overall, this was a fairly complete win. Adam Weber goes out 0-4 against Wisconsin; he completed less than 50% of his passes but got a ton of long bombs down the stretch after Wisconsin took a big lead. While the Badgers didn't record an interception, they came close and contested many of Weber's throws, making life very difficult.
Scott Tolzien had a solid game, the reappearance of Braylon Edwards Nick Toon really helped the passing game, and Jared Abbrederis scored the first touchdown of the day on his first reception of the game (he had 3 overall).
This day has so far seen Wisconsin beat Minnesota for the 7th year in a row, Illinois's first EVER win in Beaver Stadium, and it could see who's really the best team in the state of Michigan (say Wolverines and I call BS, they have no defense). Oh, and an Ohio State slaughter of a hopeless IU squad. Depending on how USC-East does against 'Bama, we could have a top ranked Ohio State team coming to town next week...
