Badger hoops resources go live

With the first basketball practice and "Field House Madness" just 10 days away, a fresh season of Wisconsin hoops may bring a welcome distraction from the weekly special teams disaster we are seeing on the football field.

To aid basketball fans in this diversion, I migrated some of the dynamic basketball content from Hoops Marinara to Bucky's 5th Quarter. This should give readers a few more resources at their fingertips. If you are familiar with my old site, you will recognize the focus on recruiting content, albeit in a better-looking format. The new stuff should compliment the great basketball content already available on B5Q. I have summarized five new areas below:

Recruiting Widget
The new basketball recruiting dashboard appears in the left-hand sidebar on the home page, giving a glimpse of the players currently being recruited by Bo Ryan's staff. This is the gateway to B5Q's recruiting pages. Each player's name is a link to more information. It also contains a permanent link to the Basketball Recruiting Hub.

Basketball Recruiting Hub
This page serves as the new big board of current and previous basketball recruiting targets. Signed and offered recruits appear with links to more in-depth profile pages. Other players whom Wisconsin has shown interest in also appear here. Read about more new features after the jump!

Prospect Profiles
When there is a confirmed scholarship offer made to a recruit, we will post a profile page for that prospect with all his relevant info (news, rankings, videos) gathered and served up hot-n-fresh for you on one page. Currently, the Badgers have six confirmed scholarship offers on the table, including four verbal commitments:
