Your Wisconsin Badgers are inactive this weekend (and given all the injuries against Iowa that is a VERY good thing). In the meantime, there's plenty of Saturday craziness.
At 11:00 AM CST, Northwestern plays Indiana in Bloomington (where they lost 19-21 the last time to a 3-9 IU squad). At the same time, Purdue plays Illinois in the battle for the Purdue Cannon (which is firmly in Boilermaker territory).
The late game action includes a probable slaughter (Ohio State @ Minnesota), but this is college football. ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.
The Big Game of the Big Ten slate is Michigan State @ Iowa. MSU hasn't won in Iowa City since 1989. Suddenly I'm glad to know what that feels like...
Well, we're not entirely inactive. The men's hockey team plays Michigan Tech at 7:00 PM CST. They won last night, 5-2, rallying from a 2-0 deficit. More on that here. Oh, and Sunday's Halloween, so expect a TON of craziness in Madison. It's also the Big Ten Cross Country Championships, and Wisconsin's won ELEVEN STRAIGHT conference championships.
Comment away! 2nd Thread comes up whenever you want it to. Just ask.
Shelton Johnson on the left, Kevin Claxton in the middle and Antonio Fenelus on the right. Johnson stepped up at S, Fenelus has tied for the team lead in INTs and Claxton has been seeing more frequent action at LB with the unfortunate absence of Chris Borland to injury.
