Taylor, Glover suspended from basketball team
The first football weekend of the school year was kind to Bret Bielema and Co., but for Bo Ryan's squad, not so much. Heralded true freshman Diamond Taylor and walk-on freshman Jeremy Glover spent Sunday in jail after admitting to "entering several rooms at Sellery Hall at around 5:00 am Sunday taking a number of items including I-pods, a cell phone and $400 dollars in cash," according to WKOW. Barry Alvarez announced later that both players have been suspended from the team until more information is gathered. That includes games and practices, although Taylor and Glover can continue to receive academic support from the team and use the weight room. Not a great way to enjoy your first football Saturday in Madison.
