Deal with San Jose State nearly done - BadgerBeat.com
As I speculated two days ago, the deal with San Jose State is nearly done. However, Barry Alvarez insists he didn't "buyout" anyone, in reference to the report in the Arizona Republic on Sunday that claimed SJS backed out of a game with Arizona State because Wisconsin offered them more money. Interestingly enough, Alvarez also said he talked with Aurburn, Boise State and Tulane about 2010 non-conference games but those talks never worked out.
