East's Mason could play football and basketball at UW

We haven't seen it since Bo Ryan took over the UW men's basketball program in 2001, but a football recruit could end up playing in both Camp Randall Stadium and the Kohl Center.

According to the Capital Times, Madison East's Marquis Mason has given the Badgers an oral commitment to play football after Bret Bielema told the 6-5, 218 pound wide receiver he could try out for the basketball team as well.

Mason, who has scholarship offers from UW-Milwaukee and UW-Green Bay to play basketball, becomes the second oral commitment of the 2010 recruiting class.
