Around SBN: Off Tackle Empire interviews Rich Rodriguez

The Badgers needed either Michigan to beat Minnesota or Iowa to beat Penn State today. The Wolverines ended the suspense quickly, beating Minnesota at The Barn 67-64, opening the door for Wisconsin to clinch a first round bye in the Big Ten Tournament.

Of course, Wisconsin needs to win its game Sunday night against Indiana. As of right now, UW would be the No. 5 seed, playing No. 4 Penn State. That could change if the Nittany Lions fall to Iowa today.

Wisconsin has never played in a Thursday Big Ten Tournament game in Bo Ryan's tenure. The last time UW played on Thursday was 2000, when the Badgers ended up in the NCAA Final Four.

Updated scenarios

(From mgoblog)

If Wisconsin wins, they’re the #4 seed. If they lose, they get the 5 if Ohio State also loses, or the 7 if OSU wins.
