Jamie McBain turns pro, reports to Albany
As expected, UW junior defenseman Jamie McBain turned pro and will finish the season with the Albany River Rats (AHL), the Carolina Hurricanes' top minor league affiliate.
McBain led the Badgers in scoring this season with 37 points and was named the WCHA Player of the Year. He is a Top-10 finalist for the Hobey Baker Award.
