As we mentioned in Tuesday's Badger Bits, Twin Lakes Hockey Partners, LLC, announced the return of professional hockey to the city of Madison.
What we didn't mention is the nicknames they are considering for the team: Ice Muskies, Maulers, Milkmen, Miners, Moondogs and Muskrats. The Madison Milkmen? Really?
We think our readers can come with something better. What about the Madison Capitals?

The Madison Mendotas (or Mononas)
The Madison Massacre
The Madison Madmen
The Madison Mystery
He’s not the worst pitcher ever, just the worst good pitcher.
milkmen may be ridiculous...
but what is an Ice muskie, or better yet a moondog? i vote cheese curds…
