Also, a quick note about Appleton from ESPN.com:

"There's mixed news today for the Illinois Fighting Illini. Ron Zook and his staff added a good one in athlete Justin Green, who spurned Ohio State to sign with Illinois.
That news, however, is probably going to be overshadowed by the decommitment of wideout Kraig Appleton, who is now bound for Wisconsin. The East St. Louis wideout had been all set to play with his high school running mate Terry Hawthorne in Champaign. Losing Appleton is a big in-state loss, especially considering he played right in Zook's backyard. On the other hand, this is a huge get for the Badgers; Appleton has a great blend of size and speed. He definitely should get on the field early in Madison. Appleton has the skills to be one of the Badgers' top wideouts as a freshman. "
