5th Quarter Consenus: Losing streak reaches 5 games

Quick preview tonight, but here are our picks:

The Majority

Eric: Purdue 75, Wisconsin 66

Steve Lavin spoke to UW students last night, and said he believes the
Badgers will " get better because their leader - Bo Ryan - is someone who
will continue to find ways to enhance the performance level of this team."
However, this performance enhancing coach just does not have enough to work
with this season. Too many turnovers, having to rely on late-game comebacks
too often...combine that with their effort a couple of weeks ago against
Purdue, and the Boilermakers win for a second straight time in Madison,
handing the Badgers their second straight loss at the Kohl Center.

Hogey: Purdue 72, Wisconsin 68

My gut is telling me that the Badgers are going to turn the ship around tonight. My basketball knowledge is telling me that this is just a huge match-up problem. I'll go with the latter, knowing that my gut is probably going to be right.

The Minority

Nate:
Wisconsin 60, Purdue 50

It has been a tough stretch for UW, who have lost four games straight. But the friendly confines of the Kohl Center should bring a great deal of comfort for the Badgers, who need a win to get back on track.
